Play-off chasing Preston will welcome Bristol City to Deepdale on Tuesday night in the Sky Bet Championship.
Simon Grayson’s side will be looking to get back on track after being held to a frustrating draw at home to lowly Nottingham Forest at the weekend.
The relegation-threatened visitors will be eager to pick up points after a defeat at Brentford left manager Lee Johnson angered, and issuing an apology to the fans that made the journey.
The reverse fixture at Ashton Gate in December ended in a 2-1 win for Preston as Daniel Johnson netted a late winner after Simon Makienok’s first-half volley initially put them ahead.
Since then, Aussie defender Bailey Wright made a move from Preston to Bristol in January and this is set to be his first return to Deepdale since the controversial move.
Wright said that the move would suit his Premier League ambitions more, despite Bristol City now being sat 21st, with his former club in eighth.
